Rigid top, so supports the fish well
The mesh lets the water out, so no errors on weighing
The design makes it easy to release fish, especially from high banks

Overview

My current sling was showing its age so I thought it was about time to change, and after a bit of looking and asking around, decided to go with the sling from Angling Intelligence.

Angling Intelligence Weigh Sling

It's well made, it folds down neatly into its own carry bag, and is easily large enough for any UK (or otherwise!) carp or pike - probably cats as well.

FishingMagic Verdict

The only down side is that it's probably a bit overkill for a lot of anglers, a twenty can look a bit lost in it! But then from a marketing point, who's going to buy the “tiddler size” of weigh sling……
