If you're one of those carp anglers who must have a well known brand of rod in order not to feel naked then maybe this rod isn't for you. Nothing wrong with that; if you're happiest with a particular brand then so be it.
 Comfortable handle

However, if you're not bothered what label is stuck on it and your only concern is its performance and price then this rod, manufactured from high modulus carbon, could be right up your street, and most definitely it is if you're on a restricted budget for this one can be picked up for a measly 60 quid.
If you stripped all the labels off this 'Carp Buster' (I don't think the name does it any favours) and used it alongside some of the better known brands I'd defy most anglers to tell the difference.
 Nice finish

It casts well, plays fish very well indeed and does most of the things that most other carp rods of the same length and power do. I know that won't make a scrap of difference to the brand conscious, but if that's not you then pick one up and try it. Remember, you can get a pair for about £120, and what self-respecting carp angler uses only one rod?
