Another catch report is in from the talented team of Taska consultants with the undoubted highlight this fabulous fish landed by French big carp angler Franck Couturier, who has just returned from a session on a big French venue.

Taska report that:

The weather was very difficult for the Frenchman, however after a long hard battle and some clever baiting techniques and the help of some Taska Baseline tackle, Franck landed this stunning 50lb Common taken from under a full moon.

Some say it’s luck?! Franck certainly agrees.

Rig and bait-wise Franck employed a combi rig with a Taska Line Aligner, sinker and Baseline Tungsten Putty with a 20mm Nutrabaits’ Pineapple and N Butyric boilie topped with a 16mm Pineapple N Butyric Acid pop-up.

Since when has a 50lb French fish been something special? They come out quite often over there - after all that's only half the record. Jerry
