Darren Cox’s Perch Bonanza
The latest issue of ‘Coarse and Match Fishing’ includes a programme in which Garbolino and England ace Darren Cox doesn’t quite catch what he bargained for.
Darren sets up on Sycamore Lake at White Acres Fishery in Cornwall to show how to catch a bag of quality tench. Instead he finds himself in front of a huge shoal of big perch that take a liking to his pole and chopped worm approach – and he ends up catching over 50 of them to over 3lb!
The May/June issue also includes video contributions from top anglers like Andy Findlay, Will Raison, Eddie Turner and Mark Barrett and there’s the start of a series about the biggest club in the country – the Birmingham Anglers' Association.
