Will Raison - Short Range Method Fishing
In this made-for-TV programme Will Raison shows just how deadly the Method can be when fished in the near side margins on days when wind makes the pole or waggler unviable.
Will is fishing Syndicate Lake at Gold Valley, Aldershot where the margin Method technique has produced some big weights in bad conditions of late. He’s feeding two lines with Sensas Magic Fishmeal groundbait and corn, one at six metres in front of him, and one down the side to the next platform.
The bites are savage and Will’s taking no prisoners with a 10/11ft bomb rod, 10lb line and 0.22mm hooklength to a size 12 eyed hook and hair-rigged corn. There is no doubt that the technique is deadly in the right hands as Will demonstrates, bagging some 200lb of bream and carp to double figures.
This made-for-TV programme is free to view, split into three parts, in the October/November issue of ‘Coarse and Match Fishing’, which is free-to-view HERE on FishingMagic.
