I've bought a pack of groundbait, but haven't as yet used it because I'm not that sure about it and haven't seen a window for it yet. He also gave me a pack of boilies, green seaweed sorts (without looking at them), and I have used them and not had a single bite on them yet and that's on a water where normally the small carp will take anything. When I was last in he also gave me a pack of paste mix, again this has yet to be tested, but my confidence in their baits is very low indeed. I do wonder how much is puff and bluster and if they are using so much krill and stuff, isn't that damaging to the environment or do we anglers just not use enough to worry about it? Saying all that, my confidence in any baits right now is pretty low.
