One hell of a rare opportunity shot, given the almost complete invisibility of the Bittern in the thickets of reeds all the rest of the year long, and absolutely captured the unique posture of that bird, holding that normally camouflaging pose in the reeds, and beautifully accentuated by the slight tilt in horizon. Great pic.
