Carp Rods
Carp rods usually start at 1.5lb Test Curve, with the average being 2.5 to 3lb. The usual length is 12ft but a few anglers prefer 11ft or 13ft. The actual weight of the rod is not an important factor as it will spend most of its time in the rod pod. Go for a fast action for distance and a slow, supple action for close in and floater fishing.
