| 'CHEAP AND CHEERFUL' | | Strengths:
Cheap, Sturdy and clever folding down near (big) eye ring for ease of storage in it's bag. | | Weaknesses:
Poor bite detection, very floppy and feels cheap (which of course it is). | | Overall:
For my 1st beach caster and given I've listed a few weaknesses, it's not terrible, it's never going to handle itself against a big cod from a rocky north eastern UK mark, but if it's something for the occasional river mouth of shore angler it's solid enough. |

a great first rod, have been using 2 for over a year and caught plenty fish such as bass, flounder, mackeral, dogfish |
