Strengths: Pretty good value since the individual items purportedly retail at something akin to £180. Well made, breathable, pretty much waterproof. Plenty of pockets.
Weaknesses: Probably too many zips which ultimately assist water getting through. Too many pockets as well(though none inside the jacket) as I have to pat myself down to try and find keys etc. Braces seem to slip from my shoulders despite attempts to adjust them. A peaked hood rather than a peaked cap would have been sufficient.
Overall: I purchased this ensemble to replace a worn and battered Nash Windcheetah jacket & trousers and can't really complain thus far. I've been out barbel fishing in heavy rain several times and it took about 4-5 hours for the rain to start to get through. Despite walking through brambles I've yet to see a tear forming and although Trakker perhaps aimed this at carp anglers it is well suited to specialist/pleasure anglers as well.
