'NO MORE COLD FEET !!!'
Strengths:
They are superb. They are the warmest i have ever had and had them for 4 years now. They have removable liners so they can be stored away and kept dry.
Weaknesses:
none
Overall:
If you never want to go fishing and get cold feet again then buy these. Boots vertually indestrucktable with removable liners. 10/10

'The Warmest Boots I have Ever Owned'
Strengths:
Guaranteed to keep your feet warm down to minus 50 as worn by Sir Rannulph Fiennes on his polar expeditions! Removable inner liners.
Weaknesses:
As with all moon type boots you get the "quarter to three feet" syndrome as the boots dont come in a strictly left and right pair!
Overall:
My Sundridge boots had given up the ghost and so I did a bit of research and found that 'Skeetex' were the boots worn by a famous modern day polar explorer who endorsed them by saying "This is the only waterproof boot I have worn in eighteen years expedition work which as kept my feet warm down to minus 50 degrees" One only hopes he took them off inbetween expeditions! I was getting a bit fed up with the cold getting through my old boots because if youre cold you cant fish properly in my opinion. The replacement boots made by Skeetex are an admirable investment. They do exactly "what it says on the label" though I havent been down to minus 50 with them yet but I did fish standing up the other week when the soles of the boots became frozen to the ground! Whilst polar bears are scarse on the side of the Trent in Nottingham I could well beleive that even an Eskimo would find it hard to fault the way these boots keep your feet warm! Yes like 'all' moon type boots they make you look as though you have some awful afflication with your feet, but this is often to my advantage as 'kindly' folk will offer to carry my kit for me! The soles have a better than average grip and once your used to 'moon walking' you can walk comfortably even across snow strewn fields. The fact that the liner and the insulated inner sole are removable is a plus point too as I can slip the boots off before getting in my car and drive with the liners on my feet,no need to change into a pair of trainers for the drive home if you outer boots are covered in mud and cowpats! For a little over forty pounds I think I have the Rolls Royce of boots, the liners which I imagine will eventually perish are replaceable at a modest cost so all in all I am more than pleased with my purchase.
