Strengths: 'Should' make it easier to hair rig maggots than traditional methods.
Weaknesses: The point, if you can call it a point is so blunt that straight out of the packet the clips are almost unusable for the use they are designed for. Also the black coating flakes off very easily - a concern if you are worried about the fish seeing shiny metal in clear water.
Overall: I've been meaning to try this little gadget for ages, to say I was dissappointed would be an understatement. I've read the other reviews about sharpening the clips - but why should you have to? Do you expect to sharpen hooks before you use them? Not impressed.
Overall: never a big maggot fan before these came out but iv had a good winter using these on one rod just need to experiment on hook size and hair length to get presention right and away you go excellent.

Weaknesses: AS MENTIONED ALREADY POINT NOT SHARP ENOUGH
Overall: ONCE THE POINT IS SHARPENED A BIT THEN THEN THEY ARE VERY USEABLE.WHAT CARP OR INDEED BARBEL COULD RESIST A BIG JUICY BUNCH OF MAGGOTS.THIS WINTERS KILLER METHOD.
