'PERFECT FOR THE JOB'
Strengths:
Not too big not too small, accommodates Chub Smartbox perfectly! (as you’d expect I suppose)
Unlike other reviewers I paid full whack for this bag, and if I had to I’d pay full whack again in a heartbeat, superb build quality and the Velcro compartment bits inside are fantastic, perfect for ensuring the safety of my camera and other bits of tackle. Enough room for a small flask bite to eat etc.
Very water resistant, having dropped the bag in the river and quickly fished it back out I was quite surprised everything inside was bone dry even though the outside was properly soaked.
As with all chub leisure tackle decent quality zips that don’t mess you about even when everything else is frozen solid from a winter night session.
Weaknesses:
Can’t think of a single one, and if I could I would mention it!
Overall:
Something that is never mentioned anywhere online or in catalogues is physical dimensions of items, for the record they are approximately as follows.
Overall, 17x9x13inch, Internal main compartment, 13.5x9x9.5inch.
Side compartment, 8.5x7x2inch, front compartment 13x6.5x2inch.

Overall superb, another quality well thought out and incredibly hard wearing piece of luggage from chub.

'Terrific little bag for the roving/short stay angler'
Strengths:
Well made, well designed piece of luggage. Easily fits most tackle boxes including the Fox Medium box along with other items, its seems like it's bottomless. Nice zips too.
Weaknesses:
Only the non-slip mesh under the shoulder pad on mine is coming away slightly at the seems, but that is the only minor niggle.
Overall:
As soon I got this I pensioned off my old Wychwood roving bag. This swallows up all the bits I need for my roving trips including scales, drinks and head-lamps. And what a bargain, I got mine free through subscribing to "Coarse Fisherman" magazine so it only cost a Fiver for the postage. Even at normal shop prices it's well worth serious consideration.
