Strengths: very delicate. balanced carbon stem. hi vis long antenna

Overall: this must be one of the most beautiful floats produced,yes,it catches the angler,but will also catch the fish.i grabbed a few today notably .50g and .75g.the shotting was perfect on three of the floats,the fourth required an extra no14 shot to dot it down,if you need that precision for a pleasure angler than you are a perfectionist.this float has a nice and long carbon stem making it stable in choppy conditions.the antenna is long as well,you can have as much or as little showing.we all know how delicate a roach bite can be.don't let the name put you off though,any fickle fish can be caught with these floats.the finish is as usual for drennan-faultless.the eye is very sturdily fixed.these should last a few seasons when used correctly.excellent for use with maggots,excellent for use with paste too-make up some paste,not too stiff-almost so it drips off the hook,do not shot the float and wish the rig shallow when the paste has come off the hook the float will lie on it's side so you know to rebait-deadly method when the fish are up in the water. the honourable mr clay is a roach fisherman par excellence-i'm sure if these floats were pointed out to him in the shop he'd buy a set-if he hasn't already done so. in all another excellent product from drennan.then again,when did drennan last produce something bad?
Strengths: Superbly built and very sensitive these floats will show the slightest touch either sink or lift. Highly visible tips.
Weaknesses: None that I know of.
Overall: Drennan have many years of float making experience and they have put it all into producing this superio range of floats for still and slow moving water. Get your shotting right and you will not get any float to beat this one in terms of performance.
