'BEST TACKLE I'VE OWNED'
Strengths:
plenty of power casts real 4-8oz beachcaster, light and responsive, perfect built quality, Fuji guides and reel seat
Weaknesses:
none,don't think I will upgrade
Overall:
It's my 2nd beach rod and I love every bit of it. I've got an offer for less than 70pounds,it's full carbon, with Fuji Guides and reel seat, BARGAIN!

I fish Mersey River which's got strong current and the rod does a brilliant job casts 7oz+bait comfortably, and very stable in the wind. I team my rod with Penn Surmaster70 and it casts a 5oz lead to horizon, don't need to bow in front of a muti-man at all!

I have compared it with my mate's Daiwa Sandstorm, which's heavier and softer, struggle to cast 6oz+bait! And believe it or not the action is very similar to a Zippy F2 which's much more expensive.

Strongly recomend this rod, you can get it for 75pounds in any good tackle shop and trust me it might better than a rod cost double the price!

'Very good performance and value for money'
Strengths:
Lightweight, yet strong enough to cast a 6oz lead and bait. The rod allows you to 'feel' the fish more so than some stiffer beachcasting rods, and for an average caster like me it did not need a breaking in period.

Sliding reel seat is an excellent idea, even though it works a little loose at times.

Bite detection is good and highly visible white tip is useful.
Weaknesses:
Grip loc reel seat can come a little loose and may need tightening throughout the session.
Overall:
I am very pleased, having used a few different beachcasters these last few years this has been my best buy to date.

Have used it off the beach for small fish and also off rocks (not what it was designed for) with no problems.

It might not be up there in the casting stakes like a zippo or conoflex, but for the average beach angler at 90quid rrp its very good vfm, shop around and you might get one for £55 incl postage like I did(ebay) and that is an absolute bargain!
