Description: These DRX rods are produced in super high modulus carbon with full cork handles and screw reel seats and have a combination of SIC's and Super Oxide rings. Available in 2 lengths. The 11'6" version is supplied with 4 tips - 0.5oz and 0.75oz slow taper 1oz and 1.5oz fast taper plus a swing tip top The 12'6" version is supplied with 4 tips - 0.5oz and 0.75oz slow taper 1.5oz and 2oz fast taper plus a swing tip top

'BEAUTIFUL ROD IS MY 12' 6'' DRX'

Strengths:
First class workmanship all round on this rod from the cork to the whippings, the fuji reel seat will hold a variety of reels.
I have tried the rod with a Shimano 5000gte and a 4000 gtm, both worked well with the rod but i found the 5000 making it a bit bottom heavy.
Have just got a twinpower 4000 xt-ra also for this rod, and i will review it with the rod next time i use them both.

Weaknesses:
Price, as always we moan about the price of our gear, but at the end of the day we have got to pay for quality.

Overall:
One of the main reasons i looked at this rod was the swingtip, (i know sounds a bit drastic £170 for a swingtip) but as soon as i put it together i had to have it.
The rod handles 30g gripmesh feeders and 21 to 42g blockends admirabley on 6lb line and 3lb hooklengths, and to see the old telltale linebites and liftups on the swingtip brought back so many memories from years ago.
Only had bream to 4lbs on the rod but i would not hesitate to recomend this rod to anyone.
(didn't pay £170 for it either after a bit of bartering)
