Description: The Windy Rest is ideal for fishing in strong winds or when you are experiencing savage takes. The deep line slot allows resistance free line passage and is designed to reduce line trap. The Windy Rest is also ideal for predator anglers using rear drop off indicators. It is luminescent to aid location in low light.

'Well designed and easily seen in low light conditions.'
Strengths:
The design is excellent.
Weaknesses:
£2.50 for a bit of plastic, GRRRRR, and a brass thread would have been better than a plastic one.
Overall:
Ideal for touch legering or when bites are likely to be aggressive, or for use in windy conditions.

This is a high sided rod rest, fairly narrow, but with a deep slot through which the line can still easily pass through, regardless what the angle of the rod is.

The luminescent head works well, it does not glow like an isotope but can be seen in low light/dark conditions, especially if set against a dark background such as trees or the far bank vegetation.
