| 'BUILT LIKE A TANK AND WEIGHING ABOUT THE SAME' | | Strengths: Cast iron construction (seriously - I think Brunel had a hand in its design) and very comfortable once you're on it. Good, positive leg adjustment mechanism. Very large (see also weaknesses). | | Weaknesses: Tends to tip back due to lack of support behind reclining head section. Weighs a ton. Well, maybe not quite a ton, but if I caught a carp as heavy I'd be pretty chuffed. Too big for my needs - I'm average height and build (by 1950's standards anyway!) and don't need a bedchair quite so large. Folding mechanism can trap stray fingers. | | Overall: Solidly built basic bedchair which can be adjusted for uneven banksides and angle of recline. Too big and heavy - possible candidate for 'most inappropriately named item of tackle'. It's certainly not a bedchair you'd want to carry far. Bring back the Lafuma. |

| 'VERY VERY COMFORTABLE WHILE IT LASTS' | | Strengths: Very big and extremely well padded and comfortable. Easily adjustable. | | Weaknesses: Quite heavy and doesn't fold down well. Supposed to take 22st in weight, I weigh 14st and on the 5th night the hinges snapped, very poor design, mostly plastic. Fox say 'we've had a lot of problems with these' and have still not fixed it in 3 months. | | Overall: RUBBISH!!!!! More concerned with Fox service than quality as could have got a runt, would havebeen cheaper to get a B&B. |

| 'COMFORTABLE AND AMPLE SIZE, BUT HEAVY' | | Strengths: Big enough for the biggest bloke bar absolute giants, which makes it all the more comfortable for smaller blokes | | Weaknesses: Heavy | | Overall: Not bad at all, and if Fox could just reduce the weight by one or two kilos it's be even better. I'd be prepared to pay a bit more if they did that. |

| 'BIG AND STRONG BUT YOU NEED A BARROW TO LIFT IT' | | Strengths: bulletproof large comfy | | Weaknesses: very heavy | | Overall: If you fish swims where you can park behind then buy one but they are not that cheap compared to bedchairs that weigh half of this one, It does it's job but I regret buying it any offers? |
