'UNBEATABLE VALUE FOR MONEY.'
Strengths:
2 man version is extremely spacious.
Very solid and stable when erect. Looks far more expensive than it is.
Weaknesses:
Takes a little longer to erect than more modern bivvis, but this is in exchange for its stable construction. Proper bivvie pegs are required for hard surfaces or extreme weather. Could do with a slightly larger stow bag.
Overall:
Although it is not constructed as heavily as some bivvies costing four times as much, after two or three seasons, you could afford to throw it away, get another and still be better off.

'A GOOD SUMMER SHELTER. NOT FOR THE LARGER ANGLER.'
Strengths:
Cheap
Sturdy (survived 50 mph winds in practically open ground)
Twin Skin
Weaknesses:
Not a lot of space which effects waterproof.
Slow to put up.
Slower to take down.
Porch is pointless.
Bag isn't big enough.
Overall:
The cypry has been a great first bivvy to me, or it had been up until the winter. I spent the summer on a sun lounger on a beautiful reservoir in my cypry with my mate on the floor next to me with enough room and perfectly comfortable. He and I have since obtained new bivvies and bedchairs. When i put my bedchair in the cypry side on it pushed the edges of it outwards. When put diagonally the corners still touched and pushed the walls of the bivvy. After a few downpours the water had leaked through the parts it was touching and dampened not only my new bedchair but my pillow aswell. It is a bedchair designed for a larger angler because i'm quite tall but the cypry should still be able to deal with it. Had to get a new bivvy to compensate for this problem.

Other problems include: So slow to take down and put away due to the size of the bag.
Porch is more horizontal than vertical and has no groundsheet so closing it from the inside is a very difficult task so it ends up being pretty pointless.

Although the bivvy served me well in the summer its far too awkward, not spacious enough and has water proof issues. i would recommend to anyone to splash a bit more cash for a quick erect and more spacious bivvy.

'OK - IF YOU HAVE A LARGE SWIM'
Strengths:
Cost... It's a lot cheaper than many other alternatives. Space - if you have enough room at your swim.
Weaknesses:
Footprint is huge... the 2-man can take 3 bedchairs and 3 people's gear with ease. Weight-It isn't lightweight. I disagree with Alan Ashpole, condensation is a factor, the interior ventilation isn't too good if you have to batten down the hatches. Used as a tent for 4 days touring with a girlfriend and her daughter, the tent needed serious amounts of air to dry out the condensation each morning. We all noticed condensation dripping on our faces in the not-too-early hours of the morning. The groundsheet isn't especially robust and care needs to be taken on stony floors.
Overall:
It is competitively priced and quite serviceable.
However, the 2-man has a huge footprint - over 2.3 metres in each direction - without the guy ropes! I'd happily sacrifice a little width and depth for extra height - but that's me being picky. It is certainly not for the roving angler as it's weight is considerable for a dome tent. The outer door is a little too low for a hasty exit from the tent, and the porch area could do with having a groundsheet. I've used mine for 30 months in a variety of situations and it hasn't let me down, ever.

'A good buy for the angler on a budget.'
Strengths:
Low price, Twin skin, available in 1 or 2 man, easy to erect, fairly light for a low cost dome.

Weaknesses:
Could do with a better quality carry bag & pegs.
Overall:
Not a bad buy for the angler who only has the odd night out or on a budget. It seems well made & I certainly have no real complaints about mine.

'HUGE INSIDE ( 2 MAN )'
Strengths:
Not as expensive as the other "named" bivvy'son the market.
Plenty of room inside,100% waterproof
Weaknesses:
The little button hole at the front to carry the rods tend to drip with the condensation
Overall:
A very worthwhile bivvy for the casual bivvy up session, hard wearing, excelent value for money and easy to erect

'GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY'
Strengths:
Great value for money, no faults discovered so far, perfectly waterproof and the one man has more than enough room
Weaknesses:
As ever with this type of bivvy construction threading the poles takes some time and can be tedious
Overall:
Would buy again

'SPACIOUS DOME, LOOKS GOOD ON THE BANK'
Strengths:
Lightweight, cheap, waterproof (tested in downpour) nice 'Advantage Timber' design, room for two easily.
Weaknesses:
Carry bag, pole assembly and erection, cheap pegs not good for hard ground (use bivvy pegs instead)
Overall:
Used mine three times and no complaints so far. Goes to show you don't have to pay £300 to get a decent bivvy (mine was £70 second hand!).

'SUPERB FOR THE PRICE,'
Strengths:
massive!!
well made
Weaknesses:
-the pole thread on the overwrap is very tight and takes some threading through.
-its a 15 minute erection !!
Overall:
if your starting out and dont want to spend £300 then get this, for the sake of 15 minutes its gonna be up 24 hours at least, does it really matter ??if you feel safer with all your gear inside then there is loads of space behind you even with two bedchairs in
