'EXCELLENT BACK UP FOR SHORT RANGE'
Strengths:
light weight
useful blue arc in total darkness
alkalines last forever
Weaknesses:
really only useful as back up, but with 3 leds what more do u expect
Overall:
worth having but with the influx of imitations easily available petzl should consider reviewing their price structure

'BLOODY BRILLIANT'
Strengths:
Very long battery life, good light level, light weight.
Weaknesses:
Not sure there are any.
Overall:
Using 3 AAA batteries, the low power consumption of these LED lamps means that the batteries seem to last forever.
I fish midweek after work once a week, to approx 01:00, and the batteries lasted 2 river seasons.
Lightweight, enough light to bait up and land/unhook fish, I highly recommend this item to any night fisherman.

'DOES THE JOB'
Strengths:
Excellent for close up work. Lightweight. Good battery life.
Weaknesses:
Not sure whether I have a big head but the strap is too tight on its loosest setting. Also my on/off button is stiff too.
Overall:
Used an older style lamp before but this is ten times better although improvments can be made. Would like the function of being able to change the brightness settings. I guess £25 is a lot to shell out but the savings in battery costs means it evens out in the end.

'ONE OF THE BEST'
Strengths:
Lightweight and light on batteries. Excellent for baiting up and any close work such as hook tying.
Weaknesses:
Beam not concentrated enough to light up anything more than about 5yds away. On/off switch a bit stiff, on mine anyway.
Overall:
Almost perfect for night anglers with good battery life, light to wear, and not so strong a light it could scare the fish.

'TIKKA PLUS'
Strengths:
The Tikka Plus is far superior to the original Tikka.

It has a push button instead of a slide button.

It has strong, medium and low light facility - plus a flashing light facility.
Weaknesses:
None - it is absolutely superb!!
Overall:
Brilliant!!
