'GOOD SET OF SCALES'
Strengths:
Very compact and light
Very accurate for such a small scale
Made by Reuben Heaton, so you get the quality
Weaknesses:
Feel a bit cheep
Overall:
Hunt around, these are dirt cheep! Ideal for any specimen angler who wants quality scales but dosen't want to break the bank.

'LIGHT AND RELIABLE'
Strengths:
Have had mine for a while now and have proved to be very reliable and accurate. Bought them originally for travelling light when river fishing and left the Avons for fishing stillwaters.Have proved to be as accurate as the latter.
Weaknesses:
None really, although the clear plastic front will crack if dropped on stone.
Overall:
Value for money

'EVERYTHING YOU COULD ASK FOR. '
Strengths:
lightweight, accurate, easy to read dial, surprisingly strong and they float.
Weaknesses:
like the early ones the clear plastic dial cover will crack if dropped or stood on but this is true af all dial scales and doesn't affect its use.
Overall:
the weight saving and easy read dial gives them the edge on avons and they are a lot cheaper. I have an early set which are now getting on ten years old and apart from the cracked lens and a few scratches are good as new.

'NICE, LIGHTWEIGHT SCALES'
Strengths:
Very light, stashed in the tackle box easily, velour pouch keeps them clean.
Weaknesses:
None as such but handle feels a bit flimsy although it isn't
Overall:
Picked mine up for £20 including weigh sling. Always in my tackle box, always have them with me. You never know when you're gonna catch a big one.
