| 'VERY , VERY IMPRESSED' | | Strengths: A cracking piece of kit that i have really used and abused over the last 14 months. Light weight yet strong, easy to put up and down, you can also get into the tighest of swims for the night where a bivvy simply wouldnt get. I have been out for about 50 nights / weekend sessions under this brolly and it hasnt let me down yet. I have been under it during storms , gales, sleet and snow (without overwrap) and it still stands up to the punishment. Not sure which type Chris (above) has got, but mine came with a groundsheet. | | Weaknesses: As Kevin says above, the screw in the middle can be quite easy to loose, working in engineering, i just had 5 spares made up! the first time i lost my screw, i called JRC and they sent me a replacement within 48hrs, great service!!. I was only trashed in it once and that was during 90mph gusts, but several "well known" bivvies got blown out first. It is possible to get the fron of the brolly practically at ground level by using the right pegs - poles | | Overall: Fantastic brolly at a very good price. Getting the overwrap at the weekend. After using one of these, i will never be using a bivvy ever again!! |

| 'A Brilliant Brolly at a Brilliant Price' | | Strengths: Very good area underneath with plenty of room for most bedchairs. Good wide side wings, well constructed of heavy duty proofed nylon very low profile, it comes with a velcro in groundsheet and set of ten quality pegs it also comes with four storm caps already attached. It’s a little on the large side for my Nash 50" overwrap but JRC are bringing an overwrap out in a couple of weeks. It’s very stable in windy conditions and surprisingly seems less susceptible to condensation than other ovals I have used. | | Weaknesses: The only weakness I can see is the screw in button that keeps it erected, it is the sort of thing that can very easily get lost so I have drilled and tapped a short thread in the centre of mine and attached it to a lanyard. | | Overall: This brolly gives you everything that all the other more expensive brollies do at a much cheaper price. Okay, it doesn’t have Fox or Nash or Trakker printed on it but it also doesn’t have their price tag and you don’t have to spend another forty quid to get a groundsheet. |
