    More about Korum
Average Rating: 4 out of 5
    No. of Reviews: 3
    RRP: £29.99
    Year: from 2007

Description: The shallow profile of this box makes it the ideal ‘working’ box. Use for rigs and rig making equipment. The Rig Manager is designed to accommodate: 4 Compartment Accessory Box. 8 Compartment Magnetic Hook Box. Rig Boards (up to 3)
FM short review: The Rig Manager with the Rig Board is superb, not too short for those of us who like to use longer hooklengths on occasion and holding accessory boxes for hooks, swivels, spare pins and any other bits and pieces you incorporate into your rigs.

'A WELL THOUGHT OUT BIT OF KIT ----NEARLY.'
    Strengths:
I'm well known within my group of friends of only spending money once and for me to buy something it has to have value and be just what i want no less will do.Of all the plastic boxes out there this is a quality bit of kit that just misses perfection. I use this box with the method mix bag for a lot of my day fishing. It holds all the bits that i need to make up any rigs that i run short of, the hook boxes are perfect with enough bit boxes to even have room for rubber/plastic baits.
    Weaknesses:
Only a couple of things keep this rig box from being perfect. The hook bars on the rig board are two thick for small hooks (o/k for carp hooks)and the heads of the pins are awkward. The bits boxes do not need a finger slot to lift AND curved bases to press down on, square ends would be better.A hollowed section on the inside of the lid would help when making up rigs.Lids on the boxes are a bit loose fitted to the bases.
    Overall:
I like this rig box versus other makes as it helps me not to take the kitchen sink and only the bits i need, not to small but not to big-just right. Like all company's plastic parts a bit overpriced(why is plastic so expensive). Against other makers similar type boxes its good value.
The individual parts come together to make a very workable bit of kit that Korum are well known for. With an update of its weaknesses it would be the best rig manager on the market.

    'RIG MANAGER'
    Strengths:
Amount of space for all the little bits and bobs we carry, the rigboards take more than enough hooklenghts than we would need for a days fishing.

    Weaknesses:
the hook bar in the rig board is to small for size 18s and upwards.
    Overall:
the Korum rig box is well thought out,it's a bit pricey and can be hard to get the full box without ordering it but it's well worth the money.
