'POOR QUALITY POOR SERVICE.'
Strengths:
Nil
Weaknesses:
I purchased some studded nylon waders as a lightwieght pair of waders which would be comfortable in the heat of summer as an alternative to my Barbour waders which are a little heavier, but are approaching thier tenth year. The 1st time I wore them I got them out of the box put them on and got into the water only to get a wet leg. After contacting Svendsen sports regularly for about 5 weeks and each time being told that the returns man does not work that day, I left an answerphone message threataning legal action I got a response, and had to return the waders at my expense, Imagine my delight to find wet legs again, I then went through all this again and on the third occasion, The replacement pair sent were not studded with a note saying no studded until October(Meaning What I do not know) and yes you have guessed it they leaked. I have not complained this time as I do not believe Svendsen Sports are capable of supplying a dry pair of waders, and have decided to cut my losses as the P&P is fast approaching the original cost of the waders. I know they are cheap but I would expect a season out of them at worst. Finally I was telling the boys about this and discovered that they had also bought some Ron Thopmson Salmon rods also Svendsen which had managed to break up. I will never go near them again.

'LOOK OKAY BUT LEAK LIKE HELL.'
Strengths:
Cheap. Free wading belt.
Weaknesses:
Leak above the join to the boots.
Very sweaty if you walk or move about in them.
Overall:
For standing still on a beach they might be okay but if you have to flex the legs the waterproof lining cracks just above the boots and you get soaked. Pay a bit more and you might have dry legs. Better still pay a lot more for breathables and be dry and comfortable.

Due to the lightweight and generous size these are very easy to get about in. If these are as good as the other gear I have from this manufacturer I will not be disappointed. excellent value for money, would recommend them to anyone
