'IMPRESSIVE TELE'
Strengths:
Excellent Avon action.
Well made, guides are quality.
Nice slim blank
Extra ring at top section.
Neat case and screw quiver tip supplied.
Barbel and Chub beware....
Weaknesses:
Same reel fitting as avon/quiver series rods so CP users should check first.
Overall:
This is my stalker / quick/short session rod and lives in the boot of my car. I bought it for the quick/short sessions on the River Loddon and paired it to an Okuma Aventa Pro centre pin reel . I have now caught Barbel and Chub on this rod and its performance is outstanding considering its a tele. A 6 pound Barbel was easily controlled by this rod, steered from a snag on far bank and brought to the near bank for netting without a worry that I was using a tele.

A great all rounder that will go with you and save time if you are doing quick fix sessions! Paid £64 delivered.

'EXCELLENT MULTI PURPOSE HOLIDAY ROD'
Strengths:
nice action, covers alot of situations, versatile
Weaknesses:
careful with the tip !
Overall:
Have landed tench, bream, roach, Ide and pike in sweden with it. Nice rod but at £99 it ought to be good.Certainly overpriced, but is there another on the market?

'DECENT LIGHTWEIGHT MULTIPURPOSE TELESCOPIC ROD.'
Strengths:
Stowability. Versatility.
Weaknesses:
Maybe a bit fragile? But I am used to using a very tough Seer Rover.
Overall:
Well pleased with the action - have caught Twaite shad and chub on it and it feels nice to play them on. Not had a barbel on it yet but feel it would be strong enough to land them up to 4 or 5 lbs.

'GREAT ALL ROUND ROD.'
Strengths:
Light and feels good to use.
Weaknesses:
Haven't found any yet.
Overall:
Have caught Chub to around 4lb and bream to around 5lb on mine and didn't feel much differant to a multi piece.

I reckon this would be a good rod to take on holiday to the Mediterranean for harbour mullet and the like.

I purchased mine at the Go Fishing show a couple of years back and seem to recall that it was at least £20 cheaper than the RRP, so shop arround!!

'PROBABLY NO BETTER TELE ON THE MARKET'
Strengths:
For a tele it's got a great action and plenty of power when needed.

You can tell it has been designed for UK fishing and has coped with some good bream and chub, but is not too powerful for little roach etc.
Weaknesses:
None really
Overall:
A good compromise rod for throwing in the boot of the car for a quick session or packing in your suitcase.

'NICE ROD; BUT AS GOOD AS A MULTI-PIECE?'
Strengths:
This is a lovely rod and has caught me some nice bonus fish. Esp handy when I have sneaked off at short notice on a motorbike for some river fishing or floater fishing for carp. Forgiving curve but some strength in the butt section for when it's needed.
Weaknesses:
Well I broke it. But perhaps that was a flaw in me, not the rod. Perhaps faces stiffer competition from rods like the Harrison 4 piece Avon or Bob James 5 piece Barbel? Both would have the edge on this tele in my opinion.
Overall:
Nice, but a price cut would make it more attractive to me. Having said that, if you prefer to keep your rod set up then this will beat the multi-piece rods, so you pay your money and take your choice I guess....

'BEST TELE I COULD FIND'
Strengths:
Good quality blank, matt finish
Weaknesses:
Plastic reel fitting feels cheap, would have liked a rigid carry case.
Overall:
Very nice rod. Sadly, the 4lb bream I caught on my first outing came in like an empty bread bag so haven't managed to give it a good workout yet.
I got mine for £60 but still feel its a bit overpriced. Having said that, its streets ahead of most other tele's out there.
