'Good value rod, built for jerkbaits and nothing else.'
Strengths: Stiff as you like, gets great action in your lures and casts well enough.
Weaknesses: Poor reel seat that doesn't tighten up well to stop the reel slipping. Feels like fighting a fish with a pool cue
Overall: My first Jerkbait rod and overall it's ok, found that most 8-10lb fish can just about bend it during the fight but it lacks "feel" even with braid.
Don't pay the full price, wait for Harris to do it for £30+ in the half price bargain of the day. It's worth 30 quid of anyones money.
