Strengths: I have had the STI twin skin for 3 seasons now Easy to erect, mine has withstood winds to 50mph and not moved at all. Rain has never penetrated. Despite all the hammer it has taken, it is still completely waterproof with no tears or weakening of seams etc.
Weaknesses: JRC could provide their deluxe case as standard for all STI bivvies. I Have had no problem wrapping and repacking it but the divider in the bag lasted about 2 minutes before being removed for ease of re-packing.
A clip in floor would have been better.
Overall: A home away from home. Reliable, weatherproof, warm, easy to erect. Dont pay ridiculous prices, just buy one of these and be confident it will do exactly as it says on the tin.

Strengths: Really stable and warm.
Weaknesses: I expected it to be erected a little quicker (not me, the bivvy)! I'm not really a fan of the velcro groundsheet.
Overall: Great bivvy and when I go mine for £84 then it's really worth te cash. I can advise buying the twin skin or alternatively the extreme overwrap.
Strengths: Stable, pretty easy to get up. Everything you need including good quality pegs.
Weaknesses: It is very heavy. Bag is too small for ease of use. I keep mine in two bags. Instructions difficult to follow first time, with some weird grammar.
Overall: Very good choice for all year use. Excellent value for money
Strengths: extremely well made, easy to erect and everything included in the price so nothing extra to buy, various set up options, and pegging points to cope with uneven ground.
Weaknesses: A minor detail but the Carry bag could be bigger, it takes 2 minutes to take down and then 10 minutes to get it into the bag.
