Strengths: Quality construction as you'd expect from fox, very nice finish in the gloss black with natural wood drawers, storage is more than adequate with a large storage area and full depth drawers, the pole seat is very comfortable and handy for storing your wagglers beneath via some rig foam.
Weaknesses: the lid could have benefitted from a better hinge system to enable it to stand fully open unaided but its only a minor issue. Having added a large side tray & pole holders to the box, once in place the can intefere with the padding on the seat making it a little awkward to open when they are fitted as the pole holders especially are a little on the chunky side, but again it wouldn't put me off owning this box.
Overall: from a pleasure anglers point of view i think that overall for the price (available for £99 in places) a very smart and practical box that looks great and performs well.
Strengths: Good quality build and very sturdy square leg setup. The legs are fitted to frame at bottom of box and will utilise boss accessories. The storage space below is ample.
Weaknesses: The lack of fox brand accessories availiable at moment
Overall: Very good quality box for the money to which I cant see any reason as to why it shouldn't serve me for many years to come.
Strengths: Good build quality, the drawers are well made and finished. The square leg setup is much more stable than my previous Octoplus setup. The accessories are well made as you would expect from fox.
Weaknesses: Accessories are a trifle expensive and the range is as yet very limited. The lid could do with some retention when lifted up to relieve strain on the hinges.
Overall: I have been looking at seatboxes for over a year now and value for money wise you wont get better.
