    'WORKS FOR ME'
    Strengths:
Having used it on the rocky Trent for a whole season.I'm impressed with is strength and durability.
    Weaknesses:
None really, although it does pick up particles in the water and discolour. But this does not appear to affect results
    Overall:
I'm impressed, the batch I have was an FM prize,so I used with an open mind.
Just about ready for a respool of my 5010!
    No reason to change.

    'DON'T USE IT'
    Strengths:
    none
    Weaknesses:
very stiff with a poor knot strength because it is a coated line once you break the coating the line becomes useless
    Overall:
the only thing i can say about this line is stay away from it if you are a carp or pike angler it will only break you heart as well as the line , rubbish should be taken of the market

    'CACK!!'
    Strengths:
probably good for floater fishing, low memory, low stetch.casts well,
    Weaknesses:
is not invisible, short life, floats, expensive, low abrsion resistance.
    Overall:
I bought this line as it was supposed to sink and be hard to see.

Well it is the most bouyant line i have ever used. With a long cast over 100 yards of line would float around on the surface.Even at shorter ranger it still floats badly, which ruins any possibiltiy of fishing slack lines. It also seems to aplify light and glows in low light conditions. It does cast well but considering there are many other lines that are far better and cheaper,I would advise anyone not to buy this line.

    'GREAT LINE TILL IT DEGRADES...'
    Strengths:
Lovely and supple, very low memory, resistant to line twist, low diameter, abrasion resistant
    Weaknesses:
    Doesn't like certain knots

[Update 29/04/07] I have found that this line does need to be replaced more frequently than a normal mono. When it starts to degrade the knot strengths drops considerably.

    Overall:
I really like this line, it's not the cheapest out there, but it's worth every penny. I've been using the 8lb for my Chub fishing because of its low diameter and the possibility of hooking a Barbel. It's stood up to big Chub dragging it through tree roots and submeged snags admirably, often being quite badly scraped but not snapping.

[Update 29/04/07] Still a good line. Though the need to replace it more often has put me off it somewhat.

    'GREAT LINE'
    Strengths:
Great knot strength, low diameter for breaking strain compared with other high priced line,
    great for distance casting.
    Weaknesses:
One spool of line the flouro coating shred off in strands after I had tussled with a lovely 16 Ib Common through a reed bed. Had to replace the line, but I must add alot of other lines wouldn't have stood up to this treatment.
    Overall:
Been using 12 Ib breaking strain on 4 reels for all my carp fishing using Grinner knot on all rigs. No problems detected, Carp to 19 Ib caught and the line stood up to the test perfectly.

    'BEST LINE I'VE USED'
    Strengths:
Limp, excellent line lay, virtually invisable
    Weaknesses:
none that I've found...except not available in bulk spools of 6lb.
    Overall:
Used Krystonite for over 12 months, in 18lb 12lb and 8lb. found it excellent, switched over from fox soft steel which I couldn't get on with. can't see me moving to another mono for many years.....

'NEVER LET ME DOWN! A BRILLIANT LINE.'
    Strengths:
Very smooth, excellent strength. Good diameter to line strength.
    Weaknesses:
A very slight memory problem at times, but it soon drops out.
    Overall:
Been using it for over a year now and it has never once let me down. The only breaks I have had is when I got caught on the bottom and have had to pull for a break and boy did I have to pull!

Even using the "forbidden" Grinner knot it has still performed well and I don't make any allowances, for size of fish, they come in fairly quickly.

I tested it once using the Grinner knot and wrapping it around a piece of dowling and placing the hook in the handle of a pair of scissors. I pulled for all I was worth, must have well exceeding the stated breaking strain, and finally it broke. To this day I have never found the hook, it's somewhere in the office.

'CAN'T SEE WHAT'S SO GOOD ABOUT IT.'
    Strengths:
Supple when new but short lived.
    Weaknesses:
Expensive considering how long it lasts. Trilene XL or Topline are both just as good and half the price. The coating lasts about four sessions then its only as good as any of the cheaper lines.
    Overall:
Expected better from Kryston. I'll stick with good old faithful Maxima for long range legering as it lasts a full season no bother and Stroft GTM for float fishing, it might be expensive but its unbeatable for suppleness, longevity and strength to diameter.
