'GOOD PERFORMER'
Strengths:
-Solid
-Adjustable
-Fairly Light

[Update 16/11/06] Still going 3 years on.

Solid and dependable.

Weaknesses:
-No Carry Case so it gets a bit battered. I read somewhere that one will be available by the end of spring, so maybe it'll be released after the summer knowing Fox.
-Gets stuck in the outer pocket of my rod holdall when you try and pull it out as the legs splay outwards.

[Update 16/11/06] The pins that hold the legs in can fall out and if you dont spot them when they drop you are going to have to find something else to wedge in there instead. Fine if your at home, bad if it happens when youre out fishing.

The case costs about 20 pounds. that said it keeps it in good condition.

Overall:
Good value for money, takes a bit of a battering but a case or holdall would ensure it lives longer.

[Update 16/11/06] I bought this 3yrs ago and have had little trouble with it.

'VALUE FOR MONEY'
Strengths:
Stable
Strong
Comes with 3 rod buzz bars
Well priced
Weaknesses:
Coin locking mechanism on buzz bars can be fiddly.
Given the size and weight I'm not sure why its called the stalker!
Overall:
Extremely stable pod even on wooden platforms or concrete, and the locking mechanism for adjusting the height and legs is superb, and easy to adjust even with cold hands. Buzz bar height, pod length and leg length are all adjustable. The buzzbars are not adjustable and only certain fox ones can be used with this pod, so some may find this a weakness, although personally I am happy with the ones that come supplied.
