'PERFECT BREAM ROD'
Strengths:
Looks the part, feels the part, fishes beautifully.

The finish on this rod is as good as any i have seen. Top quality guides throughout, perfectly spaced.

The handle is just the right length with a really well designed reel seat that angles the reel towards the first ring and is very comfortable to hold. A keeper ring is another plus.

The action of this rod is just what i want for still-water feeder fishing for skimmers/bream, nice and crisp with power in the bottom to chuck a small/medium feeder as far as you want, but nice and forgiving in the tip for those soft mouthed small skimmers. The rod takes on a lovely curve with the bigger fish and it gives you the feeling it can handle anything that swims.

the three push in tips all fit perfectly and all blend in to the action of the rod, no flat spot.

Weaknesses:
This rod is so nice to use that it often makes me fish the feeder when another method may have been better on the day !
Overall:
As the last few reviews have said, you can now get this rod for less than £100 ( mine was £90 back in december 06) and at this price it is an absolute bargain, If i had to buy another I would gladly pay the original full price.

'SCREAMS QUALITY, NOW AT A BASEMENT BARGAIN PRICE'
Strengths:
The obvious quality of the carbon, the flawless resin finish -oh, and the action": solid, crisp but controlled power.
Weaknesses:
None spotted
Overall:
This rod would have been good value for money when reviewed by Simon in 2005. I just bought mine (April 07)"new" on line for £100 less - just £79.99. Easy to source online but let me know if you have trouble finding it and I will name the shop.

'The nicest rod a pleasure to hold '
Strengths:
The handle is made of a good quality cork and the reel seat is angled slightly upward and points at the first ring. The rings are still smooth after a years use and sometimes with braids. This is the nicest rod i own or have ever used.
Weaknesses:
The section that accepts the feeder has split at the bottom where it fits into the butt but seems to be holding with super glue.
Overall:
A lovely light feeder rod perfect for small carp and small river chubbing.
