Korda carp lead clips
More about Korda
Average Rating: 3 out of 5
No. of Reviews: 2
RRP: £2.99
Year: 2005

Description: The basic rule of the lead clip system is the lead must eject before the swivel pulls out. This is because if the swivel comes out first the lead will never eject, instead the line will pull back and forth through the system like a running rig leaving the lead snagged and the fish, too! 10 per pack available in 3 different colours.

'DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN!'
Strengths:
Actually one of the few leadclips I've come across that do work (Armaled Locjaw work too but fiddly. Other leadclips I've used allow the swivel to pull out thereby negating the whole idea!
Weaknesses:
You do have to pull very hard to get the swivel to snap into the recess. This may possibly be why CAT thinks there is no recess, but honestly it does work! Of course they're not cheap.;-)
Overall:
I think they work better than any other lead clip I've come across.

'EXPENSIVE AND OVER RATED'
Strengths:
None, bad design, tend to throw the lead on a long cast, especially anything over 2.5oz
Weaknesses:
Mass produced poor quality lead clip, they have no recess or hole for the swivel to lock into, if you like loosing leads this is the lead clip for you.
Overall:
Korda do make some fantastic products, however this is not one of them, compare them to the Nash equivalent and make your own mind up.
