'VERY WARM, FAIRLY COMFY'
Strengths:
Very warm, comfy waterproof - pretty much what you want from a boot. Pretty good for the static angler or if you're roving. Well so far as I can tell.
Weaknesses:
A bit wide - I've got fairly narrow feet so I need thickish socks, feet get too hot on a warmish day. Not totally impregnable to the cold when you're static and its well below zero. Biggest bugbear are the eyelets - or lack of them. You have these stupid hooks (like alot of boots I guess) which are hard to see if you are on the large side or wearing a thick bib n brace which makes putting them harder than it should be.
Overall:
Despite a couple of design flaws these are pretty much the best thing going for £35. Warm, plenty of grip, good to walk in and waterproof. Shame they're blue !

'WARM DRY FEET'
Strengths:
Keeping your feet dry and warm in winter is essential if you are to stay out for several hours, even when static they keep my feet nice and warm and when roving there is no worry about stepping in water a couple of inches deep as they are completely water proof, good ankle supports and easy to get on and off unlike wellies. They have a good grip on the soles and the plastic type material on the outside allows for easy cleaning.
Weaknesses:
None as such, but would have liked them in a green colour option.
Overall:
They do look a bit basic but dont be put off, they are very warm and this does aid your comfort in cold conditions, which is all most of us want from a winter boot, too hot for milder conditions though. They can be found at a very competative price if you shop around.

'GOOD AND BAD!'
Strengths:
Warm and comfy enoughf, priced pretty well.
Weaknesses:
All was well untill they split where they bend on the rubber part of the boot after two months.
Overall:
If you're not walking stupid distances all the time, (which in all fairness is probably why they split!) a passable boot for the money, nice and warm while standing around. All that said I've just got a pair of skeetex field boots and they are well worth the extra money.

'Does exactly what it says on the tin!'
Strengths:
Kept my feet warm in freezing ground conditions. Comfortable with ability to move toes around freely so you don't feel like you're trussed up like some great big lumps I've seen. Tried the Wychwood lunkers alongside these but found them far too big and heavy. The MAP are great for moving around but should you stay in one place then your feet are still warm and toasty. Waterproof gusset also a boon should you tread in something a bit deeper than you thought it was.
Weaknesses:
None
Overall:
Worth the money and would recommend to anyone. Static carp boys might prefer something a bit more moon boot style but these are excellent.
