'DOES WHAT IT SAYS!'
Strengths:
At the price it has to be right.....but only if it does the job and it does!!
Weaknesses:
recommend a clean before using, the "newness" can make it stick in on the surface film
Overall:
These are possibly the finest "boxed" budget lines available, i tried others a few years ago and these Shaky lines do the job.....haggle the price if rrp being asked though!

'Cheap as Chips !!!'
Strengths:
Very cheap line as I got 2 for £14. Nice smooth feel to the line straight out of the box. Casts well and sinks fairly uniformly. Very little memory straight off the reel.
Weaknesses:
Does need a couple of sharp tugs to get the line below the surface although this might be combatted by washing the line.
Overall:
Extremely good value for money. I was dubious about getting them, knowing that a good line can cost you, but I am more than happy with the intermediate. It casts very well and has little memory. First outing yesterday and, on a windy day, I was casting fairly tight loops with it into a quite strong wind and getting 20 yards plus. The more I fished with it, it seemed to break itself in more too. I'm very happy with it and am expecting the same from the sinking line I purchased too.
