'GREAT ROD FOR THE PRICE'
Strengths:
You can't go wrong for the price, haven't had a chance to use them at any great distance yet,but casting to 60-70 yards with pva bags is no problem
Weaknesses:
Haven't found any yet
Overall:
Was looking to up-grade the rods i already had,and found these rods at tackleshop.co.uk,
exceptional price for three.I wound not hesitate to recommed this rods to anyone

'A LOT OF ROD FOR LESS MONEY'
Strengths:
Build quality
Capable of distance and accuracy, constantly
Extras usually only found on more expensive gear (line clip etc.)
Weaknesses:
None so far
Overall:
I was looking to upgrade my existing equipment and as I live in easy driving distance to Hardy's of Alnwick, decided my first stop should be to check out the Grey's 'Prodigy & Prodigy X-Flite'. I left to mull over spending £189 (or £100 for an ex-demo minus the lifetime guarantee) on a single item. I now called into my local shop asking for advice and was directed to the Fox Warrior XT 3.25 t/c. Now I can hear the sceptical saying how the shop would obviously direct me to a rod they sold, well they sell the Prodigy's also, at the same rates. Now the shop also know I fish mainly at two places one quite small and intimate, the other a 'big' water needing casting distance ability. The 'Fox' copes with both, at 3.25 t/c my choice sounds heavy for the margin of a small commercial but the customary smoothness of a Fox copes admirably. On the big water, 3.25 t/c allows me to cast a heavy PVA as far as I wish effortlessly and consistantly. Only time will tell if the rod is durable but so far I'm pleased as punch and the saving allowed the purchase of an upgrade in reel to match.

'FANTASTIC VALUE'
Strengths:
Well made. Very good reel seat. Line clip. Beta light housing. Nice looking rods.
Weaknesses:
Can scratch easily if you bash them around a bit.
Overall:
I have 4 of these! 2 x 2.5 TC for carp and 2 x 3.0 TC for pike fishing. Quite simply they have performed very well whatever I have done with them. PVA bags toss out respectable distances 60 to 75 metres and half mackerels with 2 oz leads take the 3.0s to the limit but they cope well! All rods have landed fish to around 20 pounds and feel very safe when doing so. Unless your a TT or need to go to 100 metres plus then theres not much else to consider here.

'GREAT ALL ROUND CARP ROD'
Strengths:
the amount of punnishment this rod can take is nothing short of amazing.
Weaknesses:
Care must be taken with fish under the rod tip as hook pulls may occur (but very rarely)!!!
Overall:
Superb all rounder. I prefer the 2.75lb version. For me this rod has not only landed carp to just over 29lbs but also catfish to 22lbs! A really revolutionary piece of kit at a ridiculously low price. It is also quite stiff but does not lose the 'Fox' action. It is more than capable of blasting a large pva bag to 75yds+.

'LOOKS GOOD FISHES GREAT'
Strengths:
Price, performance, looks. I got recommended this rod for short to medium casting simply because I wanted to invest more in a reel. FOr rod and reel I came in well under my budget but dont feel I've at all scrimped on the rod.
Weaknesses:
Not suitable for long distance.
Overall:
Great rod for the price tag, I was expecting to pay £100 + for a rod of this quality

'A DECENT ROD AT A DECENT PRICE'
Strengths:
Available in a range of test curves
Competatively priced
Forgiving under the rod tip
Weaknesses:
Not too god for long range work or casting a heavy lead and pva bag
Overall:
It's done me proud for a first carp rod and would recommend it every time to a newcomer after a good rod at a good price.
