 RRP: £59.99 Year: 2006 - 2007 Description: The Fox XS pike fly rod is a two section, 9' rod that will easily handle the #10/11 weight lines necessary for casting large pike flies.
It handles perfectly with floating and intermediate weight forward lines, shooting heads and fast sink DI lines.
It is fitted with snake rings in the top section to minimise friction and allow the passage of large knots.
It balances perfectly with the large 'arbor' type reels used for this style of fishing. This rod feautues a full cork handle, substantial fly 'keeper' ring and fitted with a detachable fighting butt for those who prefer extra leverage when dealing with heavy fish.
