Pros: Plenty of power for carping. Not much droop at 12.5m.Handled fish to 10lb 11oz from snaggy far bank swims ok!
Cons: seemed a little heavy to start with but soon adapted.

First class bit of kit and well priced too. I couldn't have wished to have bought a better ""first"" pole.

Pros: for it's price, rigid, light and stiff
Cons: The heavier spare top set is weak and the tip splits and the elastic cuts on the resulting sharp edges. Two poles on a match broke in identical circumstances yesterday. Ther real test will be how Preston regard the letter I'm about to send them outlinin

It ain't that strong I still think it's probably the best value for money spent. I'll adjust the Performance,Quality & Value marks when I get the reply from Preston

Pros: Stiff and balanced enough to fish and hit bites at 12.5m. It's strong enough and landed Carp to over 11lb first time out. Spares availability from Preston is superb.
Cons: The diameter is quite large making it little more awkward in windy weather and the finish sticks to your hand when shipping out in wet weather.

Great value Recommended. I'm not sure I want to try teh 14m version unless the fish were hooking themselves and I had a spray bar to hold it!I've added loads of spare top kits and they're not bad value - Top 3 Match or Power kits are
