Description: Crisp, light and responsive. The 13' Float is a great all round float rod for rivers and commercial carp waters and is ideally suited to light waggler fishing for carp. . . . . Image shown: Carbonactive Float 12'9''

Pros: Nice play action. Very good build quality.Good reel seat.Light in the hand and well balanced with a reel in place.
Cons: Rings are very small in diameter so for trotting its not the best as the line does not slip through them smoothly.

A well finished bit of kit A nice well made rod with a lovely compound taper action.

Pros: 4oz roach to 5LB carp, you are in touch all the time.
Cons: I have had the rod a week and as yet can't find any weaknesses

Superb for its price If you can't afford different rods for different occasions then get one of these. you can do just about any type of fishing with it. 2lb line to 6lb line. Can now be bought for

Pros: Excellent action, finish and balance. You feel like its an extension of your arm
Cons: As mentioned by Stuart, the rings are a bit small, but as most of these rods will be used on lakes this is not really a problem

A lot of fun A lovely rod to play fish on,it bends forever.Fantastic rod for the commercials during the colder months, and great for silver fish.I wouldn't use it in a snaggy situation or when the fish were consistently over 4lbs though,it just doesn't have the stoppin

Cons: reel seat is cold to the touch in winter

Excellent have now owned and used rod for a year, ,have found no problems with line sticking when trotting, ive also got the light top section, which makes rod even better
