Pros: The clips and rings are strong enough for the designed purpose.
Cons: I really hate the required 9 inch long loop of strong monofilment to enable the use of these clips. Even in slow flowing water this mono loop is susceptible to snagging any trash. I also do not like the idea of a captured Pike, etc., dropping the deadbai

Not such a good idea. The system works, but I really hate the mono loop so much so, that I have stopped using these clips.I have found during my recent winter Predator campaign. That a bait shield set up, for beach casting, from Breakaway Tackle ltd, is a much more efficient
