Pros: This rod is a purpose made tool for fishing intimate venues or under the rod top on large venues. Jig fishing requires 'feel' through the rod to enable the angler to feel the lure at all times. This rod does that. Every flicker of a rubber can be felt esp
Cons: The first time I used the hook clip it broke off. This applies to both Fox predator rods I have.

Subtlety with a hidden strength A nice rod that does exactly what it was built for. The ringing and whippings are neat and functional. The cork handle provides grip and a degree of warmth in cold weather. The rod lets you know of any interest from a fish and even I have felt a couple of

Pros: Nice finish, lot's of 'feel' to the rod even when using light lures & jigs. Have had pike up to 14lbs and the rod has managed them with no real problem. Ally this rod with 20-30lb braid, light-medium lures and hang on !
Cons: Yes the hook clip fell off of mine as well.

Excellent little rod for lure fishing newbies Excellent for working small waters such as canals or drains where casting to the horizon is not required. The rod is nice and responsive and works the lures nicely.Hard to compare to anything else as it's my only lure rod, but seems to be ideally suite

Pros: Mine is the 7ft 10-30g version and I have used it for throwing jigs, spinners, spoons and plugs to good effect. It has enough rigidity to set hooks but also soft enough to feel nips on the soft baits. I also used this rod for close action/jungle warfare c
Cons: My hook clip also fell off. Handle too long.

Good little allrounder Great little rod but the new 'elite' range looks better built.
