entmaggots.jpg

Description: These are a soft, buoyant rubber imitation maggot, that can be used to produce a critically balanced or popped up bait. . . Best used in conjunction with real maggots when a slow sinking or balanced hook bait is required e.g when fishing over the bottom weed or when fish are taking on the drop. Can also be used to pop up a bait, when matched with an appropriate hook size. . . 1 large Grub & 2 real maggots on a size 14 or 16 for a slow sinking hook bait. . . 2 large Grubs and 3 or 4 real maggots on a size 12 for a "popped up" effect. . . The two sizes of maggots allow for greater flexibility when balancing various makes of hook. . . 20 maggots per pack.

Pros: These 'rubber grubs'are always available in my tackle bag. I am the worlds worst for buying maggots and then forgetting about them; result, casters - which I don't use. Not anymore.
Cons: Hmm, difficult one this. The only real weakness I can find is that they float. Which is, of course, a strength if you want a delicately balanced rig using a real maggot with an artificial one. Please, Enterprise, make a sinking version too.

Absolutely fantastic! Well, I purchased my two packets of Enterprise 'rubber grubs' - that's what Enterprise call them - online from tackleshop.co.uk I had them for about 4 weeks before I actually went out and used them. First impressions went I got them out of the packet wa

Pros: very easy to use. I fish them two - three on a braid hair so that the maggots just float up off the bottom balanced against the weight of the hook. I have all the different colours that enterprise sell (red, white and the new bronze colour) the most effec
Cons: Not one, even the price is very reasonable. Very suprised more people arent fishing with these, especially the match lads

With pop up corn, the best artificial out very, very good. Well worth the money and will last years.Foxy

Pros: All round good product.
Cons: None that I could find.

Excellent Tried them on a local water, bite a chuck within seconds of casting - I had 39 fish on the day and my mate 44. Tried red with corn, natural with corn and red and white to-gether, all with the same result - corn by itself also worked but the bites were a

Pros: Tough enough to survive the attentions of small fish and bouyant giving the option of pop-up or balanced rigs.
Cons: Much larger than real maggots. Too bouyant to be used singly with small hooks (for instance when Roach fishing) and they don't look quite right, especilly colourwise.

Very useful Although they could be improved upon I wouldn't be without them, especially when fishing stillwaters for large fishing such as Tench and Bream. Ideally I'd like Enterprise to bring out a new version that would address the weaknesses above for use when

Pros: they don't come off the hook or hair and last pretty much forever. i've been using them inside a korum feeder, on a very short 2" hooklink or in a 'ball' on a medusa rig. work every time, but i have to say i do one artificial to two live maggots.
Cons: one real weakness i've found is that they wont move on the hook (move as in round the shank, not in a wiggling way!). i've had fish pull the hook when they're lightly hooked and the maggots don

Pretty darn good (but still cant beat the real thing) very smart product in the right situation.

Cons: this is not as good as the real thing.better off with other baits(cocktail)and its hard to get off the hook esspacialy when its a barbed hook

Good with cocktail very good and should be in your takle box. very good price and lasts very long
