Pros: Very good a alarm. Use them for all my carp and pike fishing.
Cons: None so far

Love them alot They are one of the best alarms i have used. They have never let me down in all weathers. Well worth the money in my case.

Pros: These alarms are very simple to use, and can be set as loud as you could ever want (could be contrived as a weakness!). Variable sensitivity comes in handy, and they take standard PP3 batteries which are easy to find.
Cons: Fiddly to change the LED colour (not an advertised feature of the alarm), but it can be done! Don't think there's a nice plastic case for them, but I keep them on my X-Pod Plus in it's case anyway...

Mine ain't for sale I bought three second-hand X5's (at a very low price!), and I'm made up with them. Changing the coloured LED lens can be done by taking the unit apart and pushing the plastic insert out from the inside

Pros: OK lets not harp on about the 5 levels of this, 5 levels of that, takes 1x9v battery, saves all settings , even upto a minute whilst changing battery, solid build, pretty piece of kit combined with awesome detection.
Cons: Would like to see the Fox releasing alarms with some form of protection, I shelled out for 3 Fox Hard cases, but thats like another 20 notes, even a soft cover free would be something, also an adjusting nut fitting would have finished these beauties off,

Perfect.....no really !!!! Put it this way, if you can afford these, then buy a set, you won't be dissapointed, they look beautifull, feel like quality, have enough settings to keep the tackle tarts busy, but all adjusted simply through the 2 buttons, no dials all over the place li
