Pros: Tone and volume controls. Good price. Works very well.
Cons: Battery life not as long as I would like.

Reasonably priced versatile bite alarm I have used these alarms for a few years and have been very pleased with them. As i do not use bite alarms for most of my fishing I needed something that would not break the bank and these fit the bill nicely.

Pros: Go off when you get a bite.
Cons: Also keep going off in your quiver if you leave them attached to banksticks.

Ok and waterproof Can't fault the price, ""ears"" are a bit small when it's windy - had rods blown off them a few times.I use them with weighted drop-offs, signal a slack-liner as well as a straight pull, seem quite robust.

Pros: Volume Control, 2 x Sensitivity settings, Tone Control. Good looking item. Battery indicator.
Cons: They bleep several times when you switch them on (does my nut in anyway). You have to press the power button twice to switch them off (Due to the sensitivity setting). When the battery gets low the indicator kicks in which means a loud siren sound is em

Cracking If i had to buy a set of alarms now, i'd still buy these babies without a doubt.

Pros: you won't miss hearing them, they look good, the blue lights are very bright.
Cons: None really, but if you've bivvied close to your rods you may wake up thinking the police are outside.

Very good for the price. Sensibly priced, stylish to look at and do the job well.

Pros: The Blue LED is one of the brightest i've seen without going into Delkim territory at 3 times the price!
Cons: Ears are quite small but most rods will still fit. The hard case is recommended as the push on/off button can be knocked in your bag.

Top notch Had mine a few weeks and already delighted with them. The blue LED is excellent during a night session! Loads of features for the price.

Pros: amazingly bright blue/purple LED.volume control. can be deafening or as quite as you want.two sensitivity settings, i think it could be used for other species like bream.very waterproof.compact.price.
Cons: i haven't used any other bite alarm so i don't really have anything to compare it to but:ears are a little snug for cheap fatter rods.would of been nice to have a hard case to keep in as it can switch itself on now and again.some might find knobs a bit

Alarmingly good! very good quality alarm for the price, comes with volume, tone control and two sensitivity settings. goes off when you get a bite. would recommend to anyone starting fishing, i would definitely buy another.
