Cons: only one improvement could be made and the rod would be a far better investment if it came with a rod holder which could accomodate a reel so it can be packed away ready made up.

Fantastic rod for fishing maggot feeder for big roach Very good rod for fishing bolt-rig tactics for Big Roach, however It could be used for legering on small rivers and even floatfishing down the edge for big Commercial Pool carp or even Tench in open water.

Pros: Good finish on main rod and good rings and handle.
Cons: Far more powerful than suggested by stated test curve.Fluorescent orange paint finish on the only quiver used to date is falling off

Not what is says on the box ! I purchased this rod thinking it would be ideal for fishing the Upper Ouse for Perch or for bream and roach on my local Furzton stillwater. I did buy in a shop but thought the firm action must be my (typical angler!) overestimate of weight.I took the r
