The Leeda Wychwood Sharpshooter fly rod range has been made to cater for the market trend for USA style stiffer, longer casting fly rods. . . . . The blanks are made from high modulus slimline carbon with modern, American style high snake guides to increase casting distance, two lined guides on the butt to take the wear of stripping, and a lined tip ring. The walnut effect reel seat.

Fighting butt.Nice and light for a 10ft rod.Middle to tip action rod but has power in reserve for lunges of powerful fish.10ft 3 piece easily fits in the boot of the car.Has the power to cast a lure as well as the delicacy to cast a dry.
Only has a half wells handle which I find difficult to get used to on long casts as it feels like the rod is going to slip out of my hand
Smooth powerful rod I have the 10ft #6/7 3 piece rod and picked it up, brand new, for just over half the RRP.Very pleased with this rod. It handles a #6 line slightly better than a #7 line, but can still cast both of them well. The rod allows you to aerialise lots of line w
