Pros: Smooth, with good line lay. Looks and feels good quality. Plays fish on the drag well and the fighting drag is must for me these days on smaller reels.
Cons: Anti reverse switch is too small and fiddly.

Very smooth reel, quick retrieve. Excellent reel. I have the 2500 version for float fishing on rivers and find it's perfect for the the job. The fast retrieve can catch me out a bit and spin baits as I am used to slower retrieves, so I need to change my habits a tad.

Pros: Light and smooth casts like a dream fighting drag works superbly and retrieves very quickly.
Cons: none

Does what it says on the box I have the 2500 and use it both for feeder and float fishing, it's always the first choice on the bank.

Cons: A little bit plasticky and shiny for my liking

A very capable reel indeed I got one in 4000 size for feeder work last year and liked it so much ive now got 3. 2x4000s and a 2500 for float fishing. I use the 4000s for everything from chucking a feeder on commercials to light barbel and zander work on my local trent. So far, they
