Pros: Bought 2 of these approx 2 years ago for my Pike/Zandering, have used them in rains/sleet/snow with no problems. They appear to be solid & reliable and hold a good capacity, 250 meters of 12lb if memory serves me right. They can be obtained from anywhere
Cons: Had considerable trouble getting spare spools for them.

Good value solid baitrunner variants Solid reliable performer, possible problems obtaining spare spools.

Pros: A totally reliable piece of kit at a reasonable price. I've used one for heavy dutuy piking both in the UK and abroad, with no problems. Excellent rear drag, and baitrunner
Cons: None so far

Excellent reliable reels Has performed as well as reels twice the price. Can handle the roughest envioronement and treatment

Pros: Sturdy, smooth, good line lay, good baitrunner.
Cons: Bit on the heavy side for barbeling(holding the rod)

Brilliant reels Good, sturdya reels. Iv'e got a 5010 shimano baitrunner aswell and although a bit lighter i have found it no better than the daiwas. Top baitruner aswell, nice and loud unlike the shimano.

Pros: Daiwa quality item as far as I'm concerned more than repaid their price.
Cons: Absolutely none for me

Excellent performance, solid and very reliable After years of hard use and punishment, with the right care they still perform as good as when I first bought them.
