Pros:
Written by the guys who actually fish the rivers on a regular basis
Cons:
Can't think of any, other than it could have done with a few more colour pictures
Interesting book A bit dear but worth the asking price if your well into barbel fishing on a variety of rivers

Pros:
Most of the writers tell you exact locations of the fish and methods used on their given river, a real breath of fresh air in this world of secrecy & closed shop syndicates
Cons:
price but you can purchase it for a lot less on amazon
A right riveting read very informative and each chapter has a story of a capture that i find completely captivating especially at bedtime

Pros:
Top anglers giving good in depth advice and not being too secretive. That's different in this day and age, locations, baits etc - it's all there.
Cons:
Small pedantic gripe - more colour plates would be nice!
One of the very best for barbel anglers Excellent book that I'm proud to own. It has so much info about all the major rivers you can get a good idea of what you're in for should you try somewhere new.
