Bought one, want another! Not caught too many fish on it yet but it sure feels good and a lot better than the old model its replaced. Good enough to make me want another one as soon as I've saved enough pennies.

Bought one aero gte b 5000 and i want another! Only caught one fish on it so fare but it was a 12 lb Barbel and it handled it with ease.

everything, smooth, strong. i use mine for all osrts of fishing. so much so i havnt touched some other reels i own as i just use this instead.

mine came with a defective spool. so i only have one spool, and unfortunately the shop tackleshop.co.uk promised to send a replacement, which they never did. and have ignored my emails since.

Great reel, in fact the best fixed ive seen good reel. great for all sorts of uses. im getting another ASAP.

The best reel i have ever fished with. Caught 2 salmon on the Tay on my first trip out with the Shimano, what a brilliant reel for control during a 30 minute fight on a 16lb hen fish that was full of fight.

They are the nuts. Its time shimano produced a big version of these reels for the distance carper.they are an absolute pleasure to use.

Not the best line lay I've ever seen on a reel, which I assumed was just my particular one but having seen 4 of these reels all with the line lay top heavy it is a reel problem with no washers to correct this problem.

Disapointing reel from shimano A good quality reel, which I'm quite happy using and at the price it is not bad value.The only negative is the line lay which as mentioned above is a shame for what otherwise is a nice looking silky smooth true all rounder of a reel.

Clutch is very sensitive. Does not require excessive force to engage bale arm. Outstanding rotor balance eleminating any viabration.

Cons:

Dont like the linelay. Dont like the spool clip.
|

Great product. Most satisfactory performance I have ever experienced in 43 years of fishing.
