Pros: Fantastic action, very delicate tip down to a very powerful butt and it comes in progressively. The finish on this rod is superb.First trip out 11.10 carp, had to lean into it to stop it going in some marginal weed and the rod took it in its stride.
Cons: Could do with a slightly larger diameter first ring. Apart from that nothing.

Awesome!!! I would recommend this rod to anyone who needs a power float rod. I could even see me using it to trot for the big Chub on the river Aire. The tip looks brilliant for stick float work!

Pros: This rod has a decievingly slim blank with an improved length of 13ft and has a superb build. It handles lines between 2.5lb - 8lb equally well.As well as float fishing for Tench this rod is an Ideal rod for trotting for Barbel on a small stream or river
Cons: None really, some anglers may not like the single legged rings but I think they are great and don't get in the way of the rods superb tip to middle action.

Designed for tench but equally as good for barbel A superb rod for someone who wants a power float rod which is as much at home with trotting for Barbel on a small river as it is with float fishing for big Tench on a still water.I have caught Barbel up to 7.5lb on it but am certainly confident of it bei

Pros: A decievingly slim blank that is equally at home when fishing the waggler for Tench and for trotting an Avon down a stream for decent sized Barbel.
Cons: I wish it also came in two pieces so that I could carry it made-up in my quiver; as well as a much longer version for those of us who enjoy long-trotting on the pin with it.

When I first picked up this rod a year ago I thought the blank was surely too slim to be able to handle large Tench making determined runs towards beds of lillies or for stopping a large Barbel from plowing through large beds of streamer weed but how wrong I was; on the first day that I used it with my centrepin on my local stream I had five Barbel in between 4lb and 9lb and this rod handled them all superbly without any fear of locking up.
On my local lilly strewn estate lake It also handled the species it was designed for; the 'Tinca', equally well and I am really looking forward to catching some more Tench on it now that spring is almost upon us once more.
I would definately recommend this rod to anyone.
